LIMITED DAMAGE WAIVER AGREEMENT (LDW)
This Limited Damage Waiver (LDW) Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Venice Boat Rental (“Company”) and the Renter (“Renter”) for the purpose of defining liability for accidental damages during the rental period.

1. Limited Damage Waiver Coverage

For a non-refundable fee of $39.99, the LDW covers up to $1000 in accidental damages incurred during the rental period. The Renter agrees to the following terms:

• If damage costs do not exceed $1000, Venice Boat Rental will cover the repair costs under the LDW.

• The Renter is responsible for all repair costs exceeding $1000.

• Damage costs are defined as the total of parts, labor, and lost rental time necessary to repair the boat.

  2. Charges for Damages Exceeding $1000

• If repair costs exceed $1000, Venice Boat Rental will provide an itemized invoice detailing parts, labor, and lost rental time.

• The Renter’s deposit and credit card on file will be charged for the remaining balance beyond $1000.

3. Limitations & Exclusions

The LDW does not cover damages resulting from:
• Alcohol, drug use, impairment, or negligent operation of the

vessel.

• Law enforcement citations issued during the rental period.

• Violation of Venice Boat Rental’s rules and restrictions.

• Violation of local, state, or federal boating laws.

  Any damages resulting from the above exclusions will be the full responsibility of the Renter, and LDW coverage will not apply.

  4. Approximate Repair Costs

  To help Renters understand potential liability beyond the LDW coverage, below are estimated repair costs for common damages:

  Bimini frame replacement $2,500 Gel coat gouge repair $1,200 Labor rate (per hour) $110

  All repairs are performed exclusively by Venice Boat Rental’s in- house repair division, and no third-party repair estimates will be accepted.

  5. Acknowledgment & Agreement

  By selecting the Limited Damage Waiver Agreement, The Renter acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this Limited Damage Waiver Agreement. The Renter understands their financial responsibility for any damages exceeding $1000 and authorizes Venice Boat Rental to charge their deposit and credit card for any applicable costs.

This Agreement is binding upon the Renter and Venice Boat Rental and remains in effect for the duration of the rental.
